Oak Side Chair Circa1890
Transformed: Hand sanded to remove the old wax and varnish, then painted in Fusion Mineral paint colours that are in keeping with the Arts & Crafts period. The carved features have been gilded in variegated blue, green gold leaf, the seat and back panel completely reupholstered using fire retardant foam and calico inter liners. Finally covered in a stunning Ashley Wilde printed fabric also totally in keeping with the era and the edges nicely finished in a complimenting braid trim.
